The Eno book
I’ve just finished reading ‘Brian Eno: His Music and the Vertical Color of Sound‘ by Eric Tamm, which didn’t take very long (partly because it’s a short book, but mostly because it’s something I’m interested in). It can be a little dry in places, but I get the feeling that Tamm has done quite a lot of research putting this together, so I’m not that bothered. I felt I learned quite a lot about Eno’s working methods and the philosophies behind them. Maybe it is because I make my own ambient music sometimes that I was interested – comparing my method’s with Eno’s.
