Number 12 in my ‘write a track every day’ project is ‘Feeding Time’. This isn’t a song, it’s just a groove. A groove with a poor guitar solo (this was take #3, so you can imagine how rubbish the first 2 were…) it features some electric piano, organ, double bass, and a conga loop.
If anyone feels like playing a sax or trumpet solo over this instead of the guitar, I’m up for long-distance collaboration…
The visuals are a plug-in of FL Studio, and are quite handy when I’ve got nothing really to use as a video, like me playing my guitar and singing, for example.
There’s nothing like a good bit of Sax. As usual, I can’t see the vid from work, as they block all youtube stuff here. You can here my effort of putting Sax ( synth ) on a piece here : http://www.mark-pacey.co.uk/music/L058.MP3
I’ve not heard that one, that’s rather good, one of the most realistic sax sounds I’ve heard, and the playing is pretty good too š
Thanks. I must admit there’s a couple of places in there that I got a little carried away, and it starts sounding not quite like a sax, but on the whole it came out pretty good. I should have kept it nice a light the whole way through….. oh well…it was sort of “live” as in done in one take, so I can’t complain too much…
I really must sort out my use of grammar. It obviously should of been hear, rather than here. As you were…..
