Further adventures of songwriting has led me to this, and I don’t know what it is. It’s repetitive, slightly ambient, and I’m not sure what it is meant to be, but I just continued to the end anyway just to find out. But still don’t know.
It’s not catchy – and is possibly too long – but it has at least given me a play with my orchestra (not a real orchestra) and an attempt at a string arrangement. It all started with a Motown-style drum loop, and built from there, and along the way the drum loop got lost and bits of Gamelan, double bass and Chinese zither all got added.
In case you’re wondering why I’m making these videos for each piece, it’s because I’ve run out of room in my Soundcloud account, and Youtube is free.
