There are too many leads and wires in this flat. Connected and ready to go at the flick of a switch are:
PC
Monitor
Powered loudspeakers
Mixer
External hard-drive (3)
Microphone pre-amp
Minidisc player
CD player
DAB radio
Lamp
Christmas lights (2)
Phone charger (2)
MIDI keyboard
This isn’t all plugged in all at the same time. And this is just in my room, the crazy tangle in the lounge is pretty bad, too. Problem is, I need all these things.

What? Why Bother? 
My missus HATES wires with a passion ( maybe it’s a girly thang ), and don’t get her started on my wireless surround speakers. ” How can they be wireless when they have a power lead and leads to ANOTHER BOX ??!! ”
She’s loving the idea of getting an iMac, which is probably about as wire-free as you’re going to get in this day and age. Luckily my music gear is in our room above the garage, well out of the way, but that’s a serious cable fest in there…….
Yes, a man needs a refuge for his leads to spread… 🙂
