I ended up going to see Shed Seven the other day. They were supported by The Holloways. I am familiar with only one song from each band, but the ticket was free, so why not?
Slight snag – the gig started slightly earlier than most gigs, probably as it was in The Quarry (Shrewsbury’s park) and there are ‘issues’ with noise. I didn’t finish work until 8pm, and when I arrived to meet up with my friends, we had missed the support act.
Having said that, the band were pretty good. I knew none of the songs, even missing the bit where they played part of ‘I am the resurrection’, but the sound was good, and it was fun.
The only drawback – it rained a fair bit.
What? Why Bother?
