I’ve been pondering this recently; simple cheap food can hit the spot and saves on washing-up.
example 1: boiled eggs on a sandwich, very easy to do, satifying to eat, and eggs contain certain compounds and chemicals which vastly reduce the effects of a hangover. downside: salt. you’ve got to put salt on egg to eat it, otherwise it tastes too eggy. and salt is bad for you.
example 2: baked beans on toast. The bean will microwave in 3 minutes, which gives you plenty of time to make toast. Which also gives you time enough to make a cup of tea. Result. Downside: salt (again)and shit-loads of sugar.
I was going to add a third item to this, but I can’t remember what it was going to be.
